Region 14-1 is comprised of two Sea Cadet units and one Navy League Training Ship. The Sea Cadet units are the Battleship Missouri – Hawaii Division, located at the Battleship Missouri on Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, and the Robert D. Stethem Battalion, located at the office of the Navy League Honolulu Council. The Navy League Cadet Corps unit is the Training Ship Barber’s Point, collocated with the Battleship Missouri – Hawaii Division.

BATTLESHIP MISSOURI – HAWAII DIVISION (141BMS)

The Battleship Missouri – Hawaii DivisionĀ  (141BMS) is organized to be oriented on the surface fleet of the U.S. Navy. It is divided into divisions each led by an adult Division Officer and a cadet leading petty officer (LPO). Battleship Missouri – Hawaii Division conducts training on and around the Navy Ships and Coast Guard Cutters here in Hawaii. For more information, see their unit website at the following link:

ROBERT D. STETHEMĀ  BATTALION (141RDS)

The Robert D. Stethem Battalion (141RDS) is organized as a unit of the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion, or Seabees. They are actively sponsored by a Seabee detachment here on Pearl Harbor and regularly train with them on projects related to construction and other Seabee ground force applications. The RDS Battalion is a combined Sea Cadet and League Cadet unit in which their Navy League Cadets are fully integrated into the Battalion activities in all aspects. TRAINING SHIP BARBER’S POINT (141TBP)

The Training Ship Barber’s Point (141TBP) is the Navy League Cadet Corps unit attached to the Battleship Missouri – Hawaii Division. They train together at almost everything but they maintain a distinct identity and separate leadership. TS Barber’s Point often conducts their own training embedded within the training drills of the Battleship Missouri – Hawaii Division. As TS Barber’s Point cadets graduate from the NLCC program, they most often “fleet up” to join the BMS Division as Sea Cadets.
