Welcome to the Region 14-1 Hawaii NLCC Basic Orientation course page. Coordinating instructions and detailed information can be found below. The deadline to sign up for Orientation is 10 June 2023. For more information, please email nscc.rt.hawaii@gmail.com.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Enrollment in USNSCC through 01 July 2023.

2. Must have an updated Report of Medical History (NSCADM001 Pages 3 and 4) within 30 days of the start of training.

3.  Must have an updated physical examination (NSCADM001 Pages 5 and 6) completed within one year prior to the start date of Orientation.

5. Must have passed the Sea Cadet Physical Readiness Test within 6 months prior to reporting to RT.

6. Must have a complete Seabag. (See below for the seabag list)

HOW TO SIGN UP

1. The Primary Parent should update all cadet medical information in the Parent Portal.

2. Locate the desired training (PJ-HI-2301) in the Quarterdeck “Find Trainings” module and apply for that training.

3. Notify the unit CO or other leadership that you have applied for this training.

4. After the unit leadership has reviewed and approved the application, we can confirm the registration for the training.

5. Once the registration is confirmed, pay the training fee as indicated in the training details in Magellan.

6. Once the training fee is paid, the COTC can approve the training and training orders can be generated.

The training fee for this training is $175.00 if paying by check. Checks should be made out to “HI SEA CADET CORPS TRAINING CONTINGENT”. Payment is due by 10 June 2023.

Payment can also be made by credit card through the PayPal button below, with an additional surcharge of $5.50.
